Tractor Snow Art and Cows
My mind tends to wander when I’m driving the tractor feeding cows. It’s a tad bit of a boring job for 20 minutes and it’s amazing what can go through a girls head during that time. But don’t worry, I’m still paying attention; for the most part. That’s what I tell my Farmer anyhow. Holy Moly!!! I am SO out of shape!
It’s kind of a slow time of the year here on the farm for us. Well, mostly for me. This is my time of year to get caught up on my housework and bookwork. Plus I use it as my “time to catch up on my lounging around and doing nothing” time that I didn’t get to do all summer. That being said, you can see, that other than the housework (and believe me when I say I do not make that to strenuous), I’m not getting a whole lot of physical activity right now. Wisdom and Words from my Mom
Today is my moms birthday. I told my Farmer a few days ago that it was coming up. He, being the thoughtful person that he is, asked if I wanted to do anything. Like go out to dinner or something. I said no, I’d be fine. Then this morning, as Facebook popped up a memory (dang Facebook), I was not. The memory was pictures of the last birthday we celebrated with my mom. The pictures were of her with two of her great grandchildren. Yes, the tears flowed. Yet that picture made me ponder her life and made me once again feel grateful for my time with her.
