What happens when you do not keep your New Years Resolution!!
Life has been a bit crazy around my house as I am sure it is the same else where. The holidays seem to be that way. But I do love it. I love to hustle and bustle. In fact, I am one of those crazy people that go to town and shop on Christmas Eve day. Even if I don’t really need to shop for anything, I still go. What I like the most, is telling everyone I meet in the stores “Merry Christmas”. I tend to hide out at home a lot this time of year, so this is my time to be out and spread some cheer. By the time I cheerfully have wished tons of people Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, I am happy myself and ready for the holiday. Crazy I know, but that’s the way I work.
Now Christmas is over and New Years is right around the corner. For me this means the end of the accounting year. This week, (as I’ve done every year for the past…..who knows!) I lock myself in my office and work on getting this years bookkeeping done. Next week one of my new years resolutions will be “not to put off my bookkeeping until the end of the year”. That resolution is kind of like my “I will eat healthier and exercise regularly” resolution. It sounds good and I stick with it for the first month, but it doesn’t last. Oh well, I have found I do my best work under pressure. HA!!
Since I really need to focus on my bookwork, my blogging mind will have to be put on hold. So for the next few blogs, I will do blog posts of pictures. I’m sure I can find time to do that. So bare with me for the next couple of weeks. I will share pictures of the farm, and hopefully by then I will have got my bookkeeping done and have some new stories from the farm to share.
Here are a few pictures from this past week. I hope you all have a great New Year. I know we will have a great year here on the farm. ‘Cuz as you know…..we are Livin’ the Life, the Farm Life that is….
Do you have any New Years resolutions that you make every year and never keep? I would love to hear them so I know that I’m not the only one! HA!!
