Out with the New Pot…in with the Old Pot…Coffee Pot that is…for now anyways…
Our automatic drip coffee maker quit working. BIG dilemma! We HAVE to have coffee in the morning or my Farmer will not function. (I’m fine, I can have my tea) So….in came the coffee pot from our camping supplies. It’s a bit black from the many camp fires it’s made coffee on but that’s ok. OK, fine. It’s very black. At this point, looks do not matter. Being able to make coffee does!! And Oh MY GOODNESS!!! Waking up this morning to the aroma of percolating coffee was SOOOO wonderful! Don’t squat with your spurs on…or without looking around!
Squatting. I guess for some women, this is not something done on a regular basis. Or ever, I suppose for some. Maybe when you’re camping or hiking and not close to a toilet you will squat. When you work on a farm or ranch you may squat a bit more often then the average female. Reasons. Why I squat more often. Some days it’s a long ways back to the house. Some days you can’t stop what you’re doing in order to head to the house. Some days there is just not enough time to get to the house, I’m talking control here. This seems to be more of a…

Change of perspective.
My Farmer and I made a trip to the valley a while back. (yes, it was farm related, we took some cull cows down to the sale) As we were driving along, looking at all the new developments down there, the thought of this blog came to mind. When I was little, riding in the car in the countryside, I would look out over an open field and wonder why no one had built a house there yet. Now I look out where there once was an open field now filled up with houses, and wonder where are we gonna grow our food. I now have a whole different perspective.…
