7 Layer Cookies
This is a recipe that I have had forEVER!!! It has always been my go to bar cookie when I am hosting a party. Mostly because they are fast and easy (which is my kind of recipe). When I am hosting a party, the goodies have to be quick and easy, as I usually have little time to cook since I have to clean my house!! Yes, I am one of those people that wait until the last minute to do anything. These cookies are always a big hit. I highly recommend them!!!
- 2/3 cup margarine or butter
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cut chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Melt margarine or butter in a 9×13 pan. Cover with graham cracker crumbs. Add the remaining ingredients in layers in the order listed above. Bake for 25 minutes at 350*. Let cool and cut.
And yes, I am serving on a my best china plates. Ok, maybe not my best china….maybe my most favorite china. (smiling big right now)

These look yummy. I am never totally sold on coconut-sometimes I like it and sometimes I don’t. I am excited to find out if I like it in these.

My hubby is not real crazy about coconut. He likes to eat it plain, but not in stuff. LOL

I have never made them for the holidays. Only for in house parties, like good ole tupperware parties. LOL I will have to make them next year for Christmas!
